You might have already heard that the pseudonymous England-based artist Banksy is on a self-proclaimed “artist residency” in New York City since few weeks ago under a scheme called: “Better Out Than In,”. If you have not followed the story, for your information, Banksy has taken up residency in New York for the month of October and is setting up a new art piece everyday and documenting it on his website and the Instagram account @banksyny. So far, his worked has ranged from moving installations on a truck to clever street arts and mobile installations. Sunday’s piece was particularly interesting and has been creating lots of buzz, as almost all New Yorkers missed the opportunity to purchase a Banksy original for the redicilous price of $60.

Banksy had set up a stand simply marked “Spray Art” in Central Park. People walking by hardly noticed the humble stand filled with original, signed canvases. You can check out the whole story in video below: So far the residency is nearly halfway through, so we’re curious to find out what kind of blow-out will top off the last day.
