Going through a pile of old art books recently, we came across A Child of Six Could Do it!, a funny collection of vintage cartoons about modern art and how average people might perceive it. The book was originally published by The Tate Gallery in conjunction with a 1973 exhibition on the same theme and was reprinted again in 1994. Fortunately you can still buy used copies of it for decent price if you want to get your hands on it [click on the book title above].

Below we have provided a selection of some of these cartoons which we thought were funnier than others: We hope you enjoy going through them and please let us know what you think of them.
